- Steve began working as a silversmith in 1975 after his return to Arizona from his gypsy-like life in Canada. Steve first learned the nuts and bolts of silver work at El Dorado in Phoenix, and then he received a real education in silver work from Perry Davis in Scottsdale. Then Steve came to work for us here in Gilbert.
