Laura Craeford
From Native American Information Superhighway Alltribes™ Wiki
Laura Craeford has been weaving beautiful rugs for decades, since she taught herself as a young girl. She uses all natural materials, like hand-carded wool and natural vegetable dyes, which she often makes herself, depending on the type of rug she's making. Laura makes extremely high-quality rugs with an exceptionally tight weave, and each rug takes 2 to 3 months to make on a loom. She makes rugs in many patterns, including the Storm pattern, the Yei-Bi-Cheii pattern, the 2 Grey Hills pattern, the Granada pattern, the simple pattern, etc. One of her Eye Dazzler patterns can be seen in the photos above.
